George Shaw
Currently Executive VP & COO of PSI Technologies. George has expertise in the area of Semiconductor Assembly/Test global operations, packaging IP protection, factory efficiency integration of Assembly and Test lines, and implementation of pilot lines. George Shaw began his 30 year career in assembly and test with National Semiconductor’s Package Engineering group. Later he served off-shore for NSC as Managing Director in both Indonesia and Thailand before completing his thirteen years with NSC as Vice President of Package Engineering. Shaw was VP of Operations for Start-up Aptix Corp. and lead the successful implementation of their 1,024 I/O Flip Chip custom interconnect component. He has worked a total of 15 years in 5 Southeast Asian countries as Managing Director for Assembly and Test facilities. His last position in Asia prior to joining SemIndia, was Sr. VP of operations for ASAT, where he led the company’s Operations team through the construction of new factories in China, the installation of an SAP ERP system and a significant increase in production volume. Shaw’s other positions have included Sr. VP of Process Engineering at Amkor, President of Alphatec USA and Managing Director of AIT Hong Kong.
Manny Mere
Currently VP of Operations & Information Systems for California Micro Devices, Manny Mere has served in key management positions with CMD for more than ten years. Manny is responsible for the companies worldwide operations; which includes four foundries, three bumping foundries, and eight assembly and test manufacturing partners all located in Asia. He has broad experience within the semiconductor industry, both in IDM and fabless environments, with over forty (40) years of experience. Prior to joining California Micro Devices, Manny was VP of Manufacturing at Cypress Semiconductor for its Thailand and US operations, and was responsible for the Herculean task of relocating the US facility to Thailand -- with no disruptions to the revenue flow and no quality accidents. He has also held key positions at Xicor, National Semiconductor, IBM, and Harris Semiconductor. Manny holds a BSEE and MSEE from the University of Miami, as well as a MS in Systems Management from Florida Institute of Technology.
Kelvin Wong
Currently CEO of ICDS (Integrated Circuit Design Services), Kelvin Wong is responsible for the company's overall performance. He founded the company in 2002, and ICDS became Malaysia's first IC design house providing comprehensive IC solutions. ICDS provides IP & IC design solutions from specification to production, and has facilities in Malaysia and Taiwan. Kelvin has been in the electronics industry for 16+ years, and has held other positions at STATS Ltd in Singapore ( an assembly & test subcontract provider) and foundry provider 1st Silicon in Malaysia.
David Ganapol
Currently Director of Operations for Marvell Semiconductor Inc, Ganapol is responsible for all pre-production and proto-type testing for all new devices. This includes their successful transfer to high volume production to the designated Asian off-shore assembly and test subcontract facility. He is also responsible for Marvell's capital equipment purchases worldwide. Dave Ganapol has 34+ years of direct experience in the semiconductor test industry, having other positions including VP of Test Operations & Engineering at ArTest (a US based contract production test facility), Manager of Test Operations at VLSI Technology, and Sr. Applications Engineer at Fairchild's Test Division.
